dominance is why we have gods, superman heroes, etc. We find some satisfaction in not being the alpha, the dominant, and in having him to revere and lean on. A dominant has the privilege but also the responsibility of decision-making. Our reverence for dominance extends beyond human behavior into the physical image of one's stature.
